Up The Organic
We never use GMOs and our corn is organic. Kristy is obsessive about ingredients and always talks to the grower. Even so, we want to be 100% organic. It’s very expensive and some ingredients barely exist, but we will keep working on it!
Non-GMO Certified
All of our ingredients are certified by the non-GMO project, and we are getting close to our certification. GMO choice is one of our core values, and we can’t wait to be able to say we are 100% non-GMO.
Working on Price
Our popcorn isn’t cheap. There’s good reason for that. Our ingredients are top notch, everything comes from the US, and we don’t produce a billion boxes at once. Nonetheless, we are doing everything we can do bring the price down!
Pouch Material
Our pouch material needs to keep out moisture and oxygen.That’s means it’s laminated and not recyclable. We are experimenting with biodegradable options and hopefully they hold up!
WORK IN PROGRESS
We are 100% committed to making a pure food with a minimal impact on the planet. We have come a long way but we are not perfect. It’s never ending, but we need to keep working toward that goal.
